First of all I want to remind you this is a personal selection of the Top 10 sexiest women in Science Fiction TV series. I´m totally open to read your comments and see how close I was to YOUR Top 10.



To include movies we need to make at least a Top 20 so I choose the TV series this time and left the movies for another post in the future.

There are plenty of babes alone in the last decade so all "good old times" are excluded (can´t please ALL the geeks :P ). Enjoy and remember to +1 the story if you think is deserved.


Jessica Marie Alba (April 28, 1981), is an American actress born in Pomona, California.

Her big break came when writer/director James Cameron picked Alba from a pool of 1,200 candidates for the role of the genetically-engineered super-soldier, Max Guevara, on the FOX sci-fi TV series Dark Angel. Co-created by Cameron, the series starred Alba, and ran for two seasons until 2002.

Alba appears frequently on the "Hot 100" section of Maxim, and was voted AskMen.com's No. 1 on their list of "99 Most Desirable Women" in 2006, as well as "Sexiest Woman in the World" in FHM in 2007.





Erica Durance (June 21, 1978), is a Canadian actress. Born in Calgary, she was raised in Three Hills, Alberta.

Durance is best known for her role as Lois Lane on the WB (now the CW) series Smallville. She was a frequent guest star for the fourth season of the show (2004-05) and joined the regular cast for the fifth season (2005-06), sixth season (2006-07), and seventh season (2007-2008).




Hayden Leslie Panettiere (August 21, 1989) is an American actress, singer, and Grammy Award nominee, born in Palisades, New York.

Panettiere currently stars as Claire Bennet in the NBC series Heroes as a high school cheerleader with regenerative healing powers. Due to her role on Heroes, she has become a regular on the science fiction convention circuit, having been invited to attend many popular conventions around the world in 2007, including New York Comic-Con and Fan Expo Canada.




Tricia Helfer (April 11, 1974), is a Canadian supermodel and actress born in the rural community of Donalda in Stettler County, Alberta. (Note to self: I should move to Canada)

In 2003, Helfer was chosen to play Number Six, the Cylon agent in the Sci Fi channel miniseries Battlestar Galactica (2003). The miniseries, which was a remake of the 1970s series Battlestar Galactica, was a huge ratings success, due in part to the visually attractive mind games between Number Six and scientist Dr. Gaius Baltar. It has now become a television series in which Helfer is a main cast member.




Jolene Blalock (March 5, 1975), is an American actress born in San Diego, California. Best known for playing Sub-Commander T'Pol, a Vulcan in Star Trek: Enterprise.

A self-confessed "Trekkie" and big fan of Star Trek: The Original Series, she was openly critical of Enterprise during its third and fourth seasons. She has stated that she felt that the show was creatively lacking, and that the show's producers were out of touch with Trek fans, although she called the fourth season a distinct improvement over what came before.




Kristin Laura Kreuk (December 30, 1982), is a Canadian actress. Born in Vancouver, BC. (C´mon! Must be Canadian food)

Kreuk's agent sent an audition tape to screenwriters Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who at the time were putting together the cast of a show they had created for the WB Network entitled Smallville. Originally, Kreuk was unsure about auditioning for Lana's role, as the character was to be a popular, gorgeous cheerleader, so she assumed that the part would be that of a shallow idiot. However, upon reading the graveyard scene from the pilot, she was so impressed that when she was offered the role, she immediately accepted.




Jeri Lynn Ryan (February 22, 1968), is an American actress, born Jeri Lynn Zimmermann in Munich, Germany.

In 1997, Ryan was cast to play Seven of Nine, a Borg drone freed from the collective on the science fiction series Star Trek: Voyager. The role drew her instant fame and her tight-fitting uniform made her a sex symbol among some science-fiction fans. Ryan's appearance also coincided with higher ratings and more positive critical reviews of Voyager, which were partly attributed to media hype over her addition and better screenwriting. Seven of Nine appeared on seven TV Guide covers in the USA.




Charisma Lee Carpenter (July 23, 1970) is an American actress, born in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Her best known role was that of Cordelia on TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

After seven years of playing Cordelia Chase (three years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and four years on Angel), Carpenter returned for Angel's 100th episode in the fifth and final season, explaining that she thought Cordelia fans deserved closure after the controversy of her unexplained removal from the show.




Alexandra L. Doig (June 8, 1973), is a (guess what...) Canadian actress, known by her stage name Lexa Doig.

She is best known for her work in the science fiction TV series Andromeda. She portrayed the artificial intelligence of the title ship in dual roles - as seen on viewscreens or holograms, and a separate android avatar called Rommie.

Lexa also appeared in several episodes for the ninth and tenth seasons of Stargate SG-1 in a recurring role as Dr. Carolyn Lam. She also has a recurring role as college professor Wendy Paulson in the second season of The 4400.




Claudia Ann Christian (August 10, 1965), is an American actress, writer, singer, musician, and director, born in Glendale, California.

She is most famous for her role as Commander Susan Ivanova on the science fiction television series Babylon 5. She left the series unexpectedly following the fourth season, when contract negotiations for the fifth and final season – aggravated by the possibility that there would not be one – broke down. (Her appearance in the series finale was filmed during the fourth season).

Always much admired amongst sci-fi fans for her physical characteristics, she posed nude for Playboy Magazine In October of 1999.
